Roatán Honduras, a paradise for divers (and for everyone else)
I never thought I'd find myself on a plane to Honduras, but after a few emails with some friends I had made while in Belize, I found myself planning a trip to the island of Roatan. I wasn't sure what to expect ,all I knew was that it was supposed to be beautiful and cheap. Turns out, it's both! This beautiful island is located in the Caribbean Sea and is known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush rainforest. Trust me , you won't regret booking a trip here!
Most people go to the tropics for the sun and sand, but I went for the sharks. Roatan is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, with crystal clear water and a stunningly green landscape. But it's also home to nurse sharks, bull sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, and hammerheads (not to mention barracudas, moray eels, and sea turtles). If you're brave enough (or crazy enough) to get in the water with them, diving or snorkeling here is an experience you'll never forget. Just be careful not to fall in love ,Roatan's got a bit of a bite!

3. Zip line through the rainforest canopy. When I told my family and friends that I was going zip lining through the rainforest canopy in Roatan Honduras, their reactions were all pretty much the same: they looked at me like I had lost my mind. "You're doing what? Aren't you afraid of heights?" they would ask. But to me, zip lining sounded like the perfect way to experience the rainforest up close and personal – and I was definitely not afraid of heights! In fact, I was looking forward to it. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Zip lining through the rainforest canopy is an adventure like no other. You feel like a badass adventurer soaring through the trees, and it's an adrenaline rush like no other.

Soak up the sun on West Bay Beach, or explore the island's many other attractions. Whatever you choose to do, you're sure to have a great time on Roatan's beaches!
