6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter
1 package (10 ounces) mini marshmallows
2 tablespoons 1936 Vanilla Torrefacto Instant Coffee granules (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt (optional)


Prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper. Set it aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once the butter is melted, add the instant coffee granules. Stir them into the melted butter until they dissolve. You can adjust the amount of instant coffee to your taste; if you want a stronger coffee flavor, add more.

Add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan with the coffee-infused butter. Stir constantly over low heat until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. If you want to add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt for extra flavor, do so at this stage.

Remove the saucepan from the heat as soon as the marshmallows are fully melted to avoid overcooking.

Quickly pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the Rice Krispies cereal in a large mixing bowl.

Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently but thoroughly combine the cereal and marshmallow mixture until all the cereal is coated.

Transfer the mixture into the prepared 9x13-inch pan.

Press the mixture down evenly into the pan using a greased spatula or your hands. You can use a sheet of parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Let the treats cool and set at room temperature for about 1-2 hours.

Once the treats have cooled and set, you can cut them into squares or rectangles and serve.
