The Perfect Iced Coffee Recipe

This iced coffee recipe is great as it’s easy, budget-friendly, and very quick to make.

All you need is our delicious Instant Coffee 1936, half and half, sugar, and vanilla extract.

Tired of going to a coffee shop for an often expensive, not that tasty, iced coffee? Don’t look any further! This iced coffee recipe with Instant Coffee 1936 will revolutionize your mornings and give you a moment of well-being but also help you through your meetings and daily routine!

One big issue we noticed in the USA is that coffee shops are everywhere and that’s great, but whenever you’re looking at the popular ones, your coffee usually ends up costing you a lot more than you expected, what a shame! We like making life easier for our customers and that’s why we are glad to share this iced coffee recipe with you and a taste of all the benefits Coffee 1936 has to offer.

The importance of choosing the right coffee.

For this recipe we like doing it with our Dark Roast Cubano Silver. It’s ideal as Coffee 1936 Cubano Silver is a Torrefacto style, glazed instant coffee.

This instant coffee is an unparalleled, innovative, quality offering. It doesn’t have the bitter aftertaste we usually find among other brands. Coffee 1936 is crafted with 100% Arabica coffee beans, grown, roasted in the highlands of Mexico and we are happy to give you the best value for money.

One big advantage of instant coffee is that it stays fresher longer, you don’t have to drink 3 cups a day to not waste your coffee. As a reminder, we get instant coffee when all the water is removed from the brewed product, leaving behind just dehydrated crystals of coffee.

Even on the road!

We also tried this recipe on the road this summer. Instant coffee was perfect for that! Just make sure if you do so, to have a cold cooler with ice to keep your half and half refrigerated and avoid food poisoning.

Make your syrup

Combine a half cup of sugar and one cup of water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Let cool completely and stir in vanilla extract; set aside in the refrigerator until ready to serve. If you want something a bit more exotic, you can also put less sugar and pour a tablespoon of maple syrup.

This batch should last you for a few weeks unless you really need a big sugar rush! We’d recommend not abusing good things but oh well, everyone is entitled to their little simple pleasures occasionally.

And now?

Serve your cup of hot instant coffee (2 to 3 teaspoons with a cup of boiling water) over ice with half and half and your syrup, adding 1 teaspoon at a time, to taste.

Now you can skip the busy coffee shop line and have quality instant coffee for a fraction of the price in the comfort of your couch!
