English toffee with a hint of i1936 coffee adds a delightful twist to this classic treat. Here's a recipe for Coffee-infused English Toffee:

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon 1936 Torrefacto Original Classic instant coffee
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
1 cup finely chopped nuts (such as almonds or pecans), optional
Instructions:

Prepare a Baking Sheet:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.

Melt Butter:
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add Sugar and Coffee:
Stir in the granulated sugar, 1936 instant coffee granules, and salt. Continue to stir constantly until the mixture reaches a boil.

Cook to Hard Crack Stage:
Attach a candy thermometer to the side of the pan. Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, until it reaches the hard crack stage (about 300°F or 150°C). This usually takes about 10-15 minutes.

Add Vanilla:
Remove the pan from heat, and quickly stir in the vanilla extract. Be cautious, as the mixture will bubble.

Pour onto Prepared Baking Sheet:
Immediately pour the toffee onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it into an even layer with a spatula.

Melt Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips until smooth.

Spread Chocolate:
Pour the melted chocolate over the toffee layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

Optional: Add Nuts:
If using nuts, sprinkle them evenly over the chocolate layer, pressing them lightly into the chocolate.

Cool and Break into Pieces:
Allow the toffee to cool completely. Once set, break it into bite-sized pieces.

Store:
Store the coffee-infused English toffee in an airtight container at room temperature.
