Our delicious Affogato

Delicious affogato made wiyth our 1936 Instant coffee

Affogato is a delicious dessert that requires few ingredients and is easy to prepare. Not equipped with an espresso maker? Yes, of course! This affogato recipe doesn't call for one , so don't worry about finding room in your kitchen for one. To make it, you'll need our delicious high-quality 1936 Torrefacto Instant Coffee, vanilla ice cream or gelato, some heavy whipping cream, shaved high-quality dark chocolate.and maybe a shot of vodka…

Who doesn't love a good Affogato? This easy Affogato Recipe is perfect for when you want something sweet and delicious, but don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. So what are you waiting for? Get started on this delicious Affogato today!


• ⅓ cup cold heavy cream
• 2 teaspoons sugar
• ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
• ½ cup boiling water
• 1 tablespoon 1936 Torrefacto instant Coffee (any of our 6 flavours are petrfect)
• 1 pint vanilla ice cream
• finely shaved chocolate for garnish, optional
• 1 OZ Vodkla,optional


• Step 1

Put the sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream in a medium bowl and mix them together. Using a hand mixer on medium-high, whip the cream for 2–3 minutes, or until it forms medium peaks.

• Step 2

Place a half cup of ice cream in each of four individual glasses or bowls.

• Step 3

In a 1-cup glass measuring pitcher, stir our 1936 Instant Coffee into hot water until it dissolves.

• Step 4

Over each plate, drizzle 2 tablespoons of hot espresso. Sprinkle over whipped cream and chocolate shavings ( if you are feeling indulgent )and a shot of your favourite vodka( if you are feeling naughty )!Serve right away.
